MEMBER PROFILE
1980年兵庫県生まれ。12歳からトランペットを始め16歳からジャズクラブで演奏を始める。米ニュースクール大学ジャズ科に進学。卒業後もニューヨークを拠点に活動し、2014年名門ブルーノートと日本人として初の契約を果たしメジャーデビュー。ジャズの枠を超えた幅広い音楽性から、MISIA、CERO、 JUJU、藤井風など様々なアーティストとのコラボレーションを展開している。

Music Selector
Born and raised in Naples, Claudio Cuomo took part in several international luxury events such as for LVMH, ARMANI and the Italian Chamber of Commerce, musical videos, the most recent of which was “Matsuri” by Fujii Kaze.
He and jazz trumpeter Takuya Kuroda were interviewed together for BRUTUS magazine.
Claudio’s music selection and the above-mentioned interview were published by the magazine, and received positive attention from the music world.
Moreover, he is the resident DJ of the 5 stars Luxury Boutique Hotel EDITION, and collaborates with other hotels such as: Aloft, Kimpton and The Strings.
Claudio is excited to bring his musicality into every room and to infuse it with emotion and individuality. Notes travel throughout different times and places, combining European, Asian, and North American music from the 50s to nowadays, with House – Funky jazz vibes and African beats.
