I first became familiar with George Dukes music in the mid seventies. Immediately I was influenced by how wide ranging and versatile his style was. Ranging from r&b to pop, jazz to classical, George’s music is unique to only him. Not only his keyboard artistry but his vocal ability, production and arrangement skills(for other artists as well) are quite special. On this performance we will try to touch on a little bit of all of great works. I look forward to this tribute to one of the great artists of our time.

In his many years of work he has performed or recorded with artists such as Nina Simone, Jimmy Smith, Flora Purim, Phil Upchurch, Nathan East, Ray Parker, Cheryl Lynn, Peabo Bryson, Regina Bell, Sheena Easton, Linda Hopkins,Andre Crouch, Martha Reeves and many others.
